Project

This is a pitch idea commissioned by XL recordings, Beck was recording a new album, and in the studio was this Kitsch, low-brow style of mass-produced art. He wanted to try it as cover idea for the new release. We expanded the initial thoughts, and proposed that a deluxe version box, be a take on a Mills and Boon book, which fitted perfectly with the working title Modern Guilt - at the last minute he got cold feet about the idea. One that got away, but we wanted to share the story with you.
